The hogue rubber grip adds a much wanted more comfortable, more secure grip on the subcompact 9mm.

Kimber Micro 9 Two-Tone with Hogue Rubber Grip & Extended Magazine

If you have a Kimber Micro 9, two cheap (~$30 each) items you can buy to significantly improve the way it feels in your hand are:

These two items will transform how this little firearm feels in your hands. The rubber is hard (not sticky) yet feels great and grippy in your hand. The finger groves are comfortable with or without gloves on. I often carry this gun while riding so the ability to pull this out of my holster and grip it correctly while wearing gloves is important. This grip doesn’t impede that at all.

Speaking of holsters, this grip does widen the handle a bit (maybe half a centimeter) and I was worried that fact, plus the grippy-ness might make it more difficult to slide in and out of my holster. But it still functions perfectly with my holster.

Another thing to note, this is pretty much the exact grip that comes stock with the Kimber Micro 9 Nightfall edition only that one is branded with “Kimber” logos instead of the “Hogue” logo. My point is, this is as close to OEM equipment as you can get so you know it is going to fit and perform flawlessly.

Installation is a piece of cake. Pop off 4 screws and you are done. I used this 3/32 Hex which is just a couple bucks on amazon.

This is my first experience with Hogue and I gotta say, I am ultra impressed. To the point I am seriously considering upgraded several of my other firearms to feature hogue grips.
